Absolute best work we've ever had done. Rusty Crain Concrete & Excavation poured concrete for our pergola/pool and did landscaping work that consisted of a thin concrete barrier with stones and pavers, along with grass. The finished product is exactly what we asked and envisioned. I felt informed by Rusty on everything that was happening, every step of the way. I can't recommend Rusty and his crew enough.

We call Rusty the “concrete angel” because he was standing on the street by our house one morning working at the neighbor’s house, while I returned from my morning walk. I had just been praying about a lead on a good concrete guy for a driveway expansion, and there he was, clear as day. Rusty helped us design plans. He and his crew did amazing stone and rock landscaping by our pool, as well as doing a beautiful driveway expansion. I highly recommend Rusty Crain Concrete & Excavation. Mr Crain and his team were a perfect fit for our project, and exceeded even our high expectations. We had Mr Crain pour a 2000 sqft parking area, and had the additional requirement that it support our RV and other heavy equipment. We had a difficult area to work because the terrain sloped from our existing road TOWARD the house. Out of all the contractors that quoted the project, Mr Crain was the only one that proposed the drain you see in our completed project. His experience with this work was immediately apparent, and I never felt like he was rushing through any appointments. He took over an hour to quote the initial proposal for even a simple parking pad, all the while asking questions and really trying to understand our desires for the space. During the work, his team was always respectful of our property and privacy, but diligent to meet his schedule for the pour. During the day of the pour, he even took time away from what seemed to be critical moments to accommodate my kids putting hand prints on the pad. Now on the backside of this project, we couldn't be happier with the result, and would be happy to bring any additional concrete work to Mr Crain in the future. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for!

Rusty completed our circular driveway this week - and we couldn't be happier. He was the only contractor that helped us out with some random HOA requests, before we were even able to commit to working with him. He was up front with all cost considerations, including worst case scenario issues, so we knew the full best case and worst case range going in to the project (and not surprisingly, we came in somewhere in the middle, the additional costs were all associated to city requirements associated to the permit). The project timeline was great, they made incredible progress on all days where the weather cooperated, and he kept us informed of next steps every step of the way. I couldn't recommend Rusty highly enough. We talked to 4-5 contractors that were happy to do an estimate and let us figure everything else out, Rusty provided the above and beyond service that we absolutely had to have just to get the project started. Great contractor, great person.

Rusty and his crew did an amazing job restoring a beach access, improving retaining walls, laying a concrete patio , and installing decorative railings to a flooded out area. He was able take our ideas , add to them, and create a wonderful addition to our river home. His crew were prompt and hard working. The project was completed on time. I can't recommend his services enough.

Years ago, Rusty did a parking pad for us and his quality and attention to detail can't be beat therefore we used his company again for this job. I’m currently doing extensive landscape and hardscape work on a modern home renovation. As part of that, I needed someone to clean up some previous work and pour two sidewalks using oversized pavers, which I’d ultimately float with Texas Black Star rock. This team clearly understood the vision, paid close attention to detail, and delivered exactly the level of execution I was hoping for.
